Plug the WAN port of your router into your ONT. Typically, this is port 1, port 2 normal fibre or 10g port for hyperfibre of the ONT, but refer to your welcome email for confirmation.
Login to Your Router:
Use a device, preferably a computer, to connect to your router either via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. You can find login instructions on a sticker usually located at the bottom of your router.
Now, let's configure your router for Hyperline! The setup process may differ depending on your router model, but look for options like Quick Setup or WAN settings. You'll need the following details to connect to the hyperline network:
DHCP Configuration:
Connection Type: DHCP / IPoE
VLAN: 0 Untagged By default, or Tagged at 10 As per your service order
IPv6 Setup: Disable Prefix Only.
MTU: 1500 bytes
You're Good to Go!
Did you switch to Hyperline from another ISP? Although Hyperline notifies your previous ISP about the switch, it's wise to contact them to confirm the cancellation of services and billing cessation. Hyperline bears no responsibility for unresolved services with your previous provider.
